Mapleton Early College

This group visited every Tuesday and Thursday in fall of 2011 and they still have students visiting thoughout spring 2012! Here are some of the comments the youth made about the visits:

The experience showed us how to be helpful and kinder to people.

After interacting with people who are different from us, we will treat others with respect because they can be wise.

I absolutely loved coming to visit everyone here at Bessie's Hope. I learned so much from everyone and it made me happy to spend time with them. I learned things from many people, including George. He was born in Denver Colorado in 1909! He sure is an amazing guy and I hope to get to know him a lot better.

The Visit Last Week

The visit last week was so fun! I was suprised how nice the elders were to us and how interesting tehir stories were.
